https://ift.tt/154AwVo Galaxy A23 phone's camera specifications have leaked online suggesting that the phone could be launching soon. Samsung is said to unveil both 4G and 5G models of the handset. As per the latest leak, the upcoming Galaxy A-series smartphone will have a 50-megapixel main sensor.
https://ift.tt/2ugZxyk Note 11T 5G was launched in India on Tuesday. The new Redmi Note phone is essentially a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11 that was launched in China last month. It is also positioned as the successor to the Redmi Note 10T that was launched in India earlier this year.
After a lot of speculation, Xiaomi has finally announced its mid-range smartphone in India. The Redmi Note 11T 5G makes its way out right before the year ends, offering users yet another device to consider before making a purchase decision.
The Redmi Note 11T 5G is essentially a rebadged Redmi Note 11 that was recently launched in China. When compared to its predecessor, the Redmi Note 10T that had landed in July, the device from Xiaomi offers a lot of changes and upgrades.
The new smartphone brings forth a new design besides enhanced specifications on multiple fronts such as a new 5G capable chipset, better camera setup, display with high refresh rate and fast charging.
The Redmi Note 11T 5G will retail at Rs.16,999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The 6GB RAM and 128GB variant is priced at Rs.17,999 while the price of 8GB and 128GB variant has been set at Rs 19,999. The device can be bought starting December 7 from Amazon India, Xiaomi's official website, Mi Homes and a few other preferred partners.
As a launch offer, Xiaomi is offering Rs1000 off and has also partnered with ICICI bank to offer Rs. 1000 offer an additional Rs. 1000 off for ICICI bank customers.
In recent times, we have seen quite a few teasers around the Redmi Note 11T 5G with Xiaomi’s VP Manu Jain regularly offering glimpses while building up the hype for the launch event. The phone comes with a large 6.6-inch full-HD+ LCD panel with a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate and 240 Hz touch response rate. The display comes with Corning Gorilla glass protection and has IPx 53 certification.
Under the hood, the phone has a 5G capable MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. Though ahead of the launch, there were speculations that Xiaomi might switch the chipset to a Snapdragon one, the company has decided to go with the same configuration as its Chinese counterpart.
The phone is available in three memory and storage variants including – 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. The memory on this phone is LPDDR4x and the storage is UFS 2.2. The phone also comes with virtual RAM enhancement offering up to a max of 3GB additional RAM when required.
While there is an option to increase the storage via a micro-SD card, we were expecting a 256GB onboard storage on the top-end variant.
In terms of optics, the phone comes with a dual rear camera setup with a primary 50MP snapper and an 8MP ultra-wide shooter. On the front, the phone has a 16MP camera housed under a punch-hole cutout to take care of selfies and video calls.
The Redmi Note 11T 5G is powered by a 5,000mAh battery pack with support for 33W Pro fast charging (included in the retail box) over a USB Type C port. The phone runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out of the box and is expected to get the Android 12-based MIUI 13. it also comes with an IR blaster to help control appliances at your home.
The Note 11T 5G takes on the likes of Moto G31 that was recently launched and Realme 8s 5G that runs on the same chipset but is priced aggressively.
https://ift.tt/2NZCRuZ has officially confirmed the existence of the Realme GT 2 Pro. Realme described the upcoming handset as the company's first and most premium flagship phone. Realme GT 2 Pro is tipped to come with the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 (Snapdragon 898) SoC, paired with an LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
https://ift.tt/2nxrLmA is said to announce two new flagship smartphones in China in December. The two smartphones are speculated to be the Motorola Edge S30 and Motorola Edge X30. Lenovo General Manager Chen Jin teased the Motorola Edge X30 through a weibo post and a tipster hinted at the specifications of the Motorola Edge S30.
https://ift.tt/154AwVo Galaxy S22 and Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus camera details have been leaked, giving enthusiasts an idea of what they can expect from Samsung’s flagship devices for 2022. The smartphones are tipped to launch with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
A panel of Indian lawmakers studying the information and technology industry in the country is far from happy over Facebook's responses on preventing hate mongering. The Parliamentary committee that questioned Facebook India officials on Monday as part of its hearing, sought safeguards on the platform to prevent polarization and any possible tampering of the country's democratic process.
Further, the panel of Indian law-makers also decided to summon the Facebook whistleblower Sophie Zhang, the data scientist who published a memo detailing the way Facebook was used to influence global politics. She had specifically spoken about how the platform was allowed to be used for polarisation of opinions during the 2020 Delhi riots.
The panel will need Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla's permission to summon Zhang as overseas citizens cannot be directly called to appear before such panels. Zhang had shared dossiers with the Parliamentary panel led by Congress leader Shashi Tharoor.
Yesterday, when the House panel quizzed the Facebook India team that was led by its head of policy Shivnath Thukral, the mood was said to be fiery. The Facebook officials were grilled for close to two hours based on whistleblower revelations and many reports that laid bare the ways that social media platforms to look away while opinions were allowed to be polarised among the people and also interests of specific business groups were furthered.
At the end of the over-100 minute long questioning session, the parliamentary panel members were reportedly not satisfied with the response of the Facebook team that is said to have dead-batted most questions. The panel members have asked Facebook to provide more details in writing on the safeguards they talked about.
Facebook officials also reportedly claimed that there was little truth to the claims of the whistleblowers, and that an internal investigation was underway in the matter.
The parliamentary panel asked Facebook about its methodology to curb hate speech in different languages, especially in the Indian context. Facebook apparently has content reviewers only in Hindi, Tamil, Urdu and Bangla, whereas the are 18 more languages recognized by the Constitution.
Another incongruity, though not a major one, is that the press communique issued by the Parliament, on which we based this report, continued to refer the company as Facebook India even though the company is now rechristened to Meta. It is not clear why the previous name is still being persisted with in Indian records.

https://ift.tt/2ugZxyk Note 11T 5G is set to launch in India today at a livestream event that is set to begin at 12pm IST. Here’s how to watch the Xiaomi event live and what to expect from the smartphone in terms of pricing and specifications.
We're well into the thick of the Cyber Monday deals now, and the iPad range have been proving to be hugely popular in the sales - despite there not really being any standout deals.
The majority of the good deals are on the iPad Pro range, but we've been scouring all the retailers to see what's coming out - we've found Amazon to have great sales, taking $100 or $200 off the price - but also Adorama and B+H Photo have been pretty useful too.
If you support our inexplicable attempts to do all the dirty work for you - be sure to bookmark this page or leave it autorefreshing to ensure you see all the latest iPad deals.
OK, we've spent the 72 hours over Black Friday looking for the best Cyber Monday iPad deals, and - we have to be honest - the deals are drying up a little bit as we approach the actual day itself.
That said, it's not all terrible. There are some deals available above, but in the main we're not seeing the same sales that appeared on Black Friday.
Fear not though, dear reader. There's still a load of stuff that you can do to prep, the best iPad Pro deal we saw during Black Friday is still going, and... don't forget, we like talking to you.

OK, iPad lovers - here's the best deal you're going to find right now: the iPad Pro for $100 at Amazon (if you're in the US).
It's for the iPad Pro 12.9 - an exceptional model, and the one that I love the most for the larger-screened experience it brings.
It's down from $1099 to $999, which is only 9% off, but a decent saving for something that we rate as a tablet... the screen alone is to die for.
If you're going to buy that iPad Pro deal, then you should be thinking about getting an Apple Pencil as well - it's going to have a real use, and the second-gen model, magnetically sitting on the flat edge of the tablet itself - and it's $99, which is $30 off. 23%? Yes.
Look, I know it's expensive for a stylus, and there are good Apple Pencil alternatives... but if you want the full iPad Pro experience, it's a good investment.
And the final piece of the iPad Pro jigsaw: the Magic Keyboard, which genuinely makes the iPad Pro 12.9 into more of a computer.*
In the UK, John Lewis is your pal, bringing the keyboard out for £164.50, which is a real steal. It says 'reduced to clear', which is an odd thing to say for an on-sale Apple product.
*MORE of a computer, not into a fully-fledged PC rival. Apple likes to say that it's as good, but there are a lot of small niggles in terms of the compatability of some browsers and the user interface - as well as the app experience - that mean it's better for entertainment and smaller, more powerful editing tasks.

I've got bad news for all the US viewers here - the UK iPad deals are still going strong, where they're badged under 'Black Friday deals', given in that country Cyber Monday isn't really a thing. (Actually, one retailer is calling them 'Black Fri-Yay' deals, but we'll gloss over that).
However... here's the good news for the US reader: I really think this dearth of deals is designed to get ready for some mega offers coming your way. That's why this live blog is here - we'll be ready when they are.
The top-performing product on this live blog is the iPad Pro 12.9, getting that sweet $100 off. We're very much still waiting for more deals to land on this in the US, wher we're starting to feel that surely, surely there must be some improved deals coming down the pipeline.
Last year, the iPad Pro 12.9 went down to $949 - while this year we're seeing deals on the newer model, we'd expect the same savings to occur - so hopefully that will happen soon.
If you're in the UK, this is the top option for me: £599 for the new iPad Air works out a treat. It's a great mix between the iPad Pro and 'normal' iPad, giving power and design quality without costing as much.
We'd recommend jumping on this deal as quickly as possible if you want to reap it - other colours are running out of stock quickly and the price is rising.
Look, I know this isn't going to be popular on this live blog - but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE, the most beautifully-named slate around, is cheaper than ever over at Amazon US.
If you're looking for just 'a tablet' and not an iPad, with the Tab S7 FE you're getting a huge 12.4-inch display, S Pen support and a fast-enough CPU inside... sure, the screen quality isn't going to be iPad Pro-beating, but for a tablet that's been reduced to $429.99 - the cheapest it's ever been - it's hard to not at least RECOMMEND it - and our pals over at Tom's Guide have been using it for a while and enjoyed the experience.
I don't think I've made enough of the fact you can trade in your old iPad to get money off the new one at Best Buy - I just did some checking, and if you (inexplicably) trade in a 2021 iPad Pro 2021, with 2TB of storage, in good condition, you'll get $750 off your new one.
Then again, if you did that, you'd have bought it recently and would be actively costing yourself money.
However, if you've got an iPad Air from 2013 that you've kept neatly in a case, you'll still get $50 for it... not the end of the world, and you're recycling.
To get this, you'll need to add your new iPad to the cart and arrange to pick it up in store, and they'll check the old one and wipe it for you.
That means you can get loads of iPad Pro models and storage sizes for up to $200 off - not bad savings, here.

Right, break over and it's time to get back to the deals. Who's ready for a little cleaning up to see what big deals are still live?
Let's start in the US - this is what we're still seeing live. Amazon has most of the cheapest prices, but there are a few key savings to be had if you shop around.
And now let's mosey on over to the UK - what's going on over here?
Well, there are a lot more deals available right now - Amazon is leading the way with the price drops, with places like John Lewis being undersold in terms of price - and most places are matching each other and no longer offering any decent deals.
For instance, we're seeing the iPad Mini at £469 except at Amazon, and the iPad 10.2 the same £329 across the board.
I'm going to leave you with one thing - Paperlike is a screen covering for your iPad, that brings the feel of paper when using the Apple Pencil.
It's well worth a go if you like sketching or taking notes on your iPad - and it's currently 15% off in the Cyber Monday sales, so you should check it out.
"Fall in love with drawing and writing on your iPad. Paperlike is the screen protector developed for professionals and artists who want the precision of paper in a paperless environment."
Good morning, folks! After a good sleep (and no small amount of caffeine) we're back online keeping track of the best Cyber Monday iPad deals that'll be available throughout the day.
As today is the last big sales day before we move into Christmas and the holidays, here's hoping Apple's flagship tablets go out with a bang.
If you've yet to check out the sales period, today might be your last chance to score a bargain before stock dries up and retailers push back up to normal price. As such, it's worth at least a look around to see if you spot any nice discounts. And that's what we're here to help with during today's live blog posts.

ICYMI: UK buyers can pick up the newest iPad Pro at a decent £50 off discount. It's not a huge saving, but fairly impressive for such a new model. At £949 during the Cyber Monday sales, it's currently the lowest price we've seen for the 5th Generation iPad pro yet.
Need more space? The 256GB variant is also on sale for £1,049, while the 2TB version, while still very expensive, is down to £1,914 for the remainder of Cyber Monday.
Here's one for when US folks wake up. iPad Pro (2021) sales are still going strong at Walmart, particularly for the 11-inch variant. Shoppers can currently save 120 bucks off the 512GB iPad Pro's retail price, taking it down to $979. That's actually the first time we've seen the device dip below a grand.
If you're an artist - professional or just starting out - you may want to take a look at these impressive Apple Pencil 2 discounts happening at Amazon right now, in both the US and the UK.
This incredible stylus peripheral is compatible with your iPad, allowing you to draw and paint digitally using your favorite apps without a drawing tablet or PC setup.
UK buyers! This iPad Pro (2021) Cyber Monday discount is still live at Argos! It's down to £749 for the 11-inch, 128GB model, the best price we've seen yet in the UK. If you're planning on buying, you should hurry - it's one of the fastest selling products at Argos right now and could sell out at any point today.

Already own an iPad, and want to turn it into a more efficient (and stylish) workstation? You should have a look at this Cyber Monday iPad accessory deal on the Typecase Touch iPad keyboard case.
This iPad Keyboard folio works on a range of iPads like the iPad Air 3 and 7th and 8th-gen entry-level iPad. The keyboard has a touchpad, Apple Pencil slot and colored backlighting. At $18 off it's a decently affordable Cyber Monday deal if you're looking to accessorize your tablet.
If you're a UK buyer looking for some iPad accessories this Cyber Monday, Amazon might just have the deal for you. The retail giant is discounting loads of its iPad accessories including Lightning Cables, Apple Pencil tips and Smart Covers for loads of its different tablets. The discounts are admittedly modest, but mostly make affordable accessories even more so until the end of today.
Have an older iPad model like the 2018 or 2020 iPad Pro? Now is a fantastic chance to pick up the Apple Magic Keyboard for less in the US. Hey, that rhymes. Kinda.
The Apple Magic Keyboard for the 2018 and 2020 iPad Pro 12.9-inch is now discounted at Best Buy. The retailer has reduced for peripheral to just $199, saving you about 150 bucks. If you're looking for a top-end keyboard for your tablet, they don't get much better than Apple's own. Sadly, it's not compatible with the iPad Pro (2021), but if you own an older model this is a fantastic Cyber Monday deal.
Amazon has chopped the price of the iPad Air (2020) down to £689 for both the WiFi and WiFi + Cellular variants. The retail giant is currently citing the latter option as "temporarily out of stock," meaning it's likely that more will become briefly available sometime during Cyber Monday.
And while almost £40 off a year-old tablet isn't anything huge to write home about, this is still the best price right now for the 256GB iPad Air 4, and the real saving lies with the WiFi + Cellular variant, which currently has its priced slashed by around £170.
We gave this tablet a 4.5 star review citing its power, screen and the adventurous color choices as some of the main reasons to buy.
Want to buy directly from Apple in the US? The great news is that there's plenty of incentive to do so this Cyber Monday. Purchase an iPad Pro (2021) in either the 12.9 or 11-inch size variant and you'll get a $100 Apple gift card as a bonus.
On a budget and don't mind buying renewed? Amazon UK has a few iPad (2017) models left in stock for just £182.95. This is a great option if you don't mind shopping for an older, refurbed model and don't quite have the cash for a cutting edge iPad or iPad Pro.
How about some AirPods to go with your new iPad? The Best Buy Cyber Monday deals are now live in the US, and the retail giant is selling Apple's premium buds at some fantastic prices.
The best deal of the bunch has to be the AirPods with wireless charging case included, which is down to just $149.99. The AirPods Pro are also seeing a tremendous discount, with Best Buy bringing them down to $189.99, a $60 saving off of retail price.
If you've managed to get your hands on the latest iteration of the iPad Pro, the last thing you want to happen is the screen to get damaged or cracked in any way. Thankfully, Amazon has that situation covered with a Cyber Monday deal on a two-pack of Paperfeel screen protectors.
These screen protectors are cheaper than ever at just $11.18 for a pack of two, and fit any 12.9-inch iPad Pro device. If you need the extra peace of mind after buying an expensive piece of tech, a screen protector can slow wear and tear, especially if you use the iPad often or use one in conjunction with a peripheral like the Apple Pencil 2.
iPad devices are likely to sell out relatively quickly over the course of Cyber Monday. If stock does start to dry up rapidly, you might want to take a look at Adorama, which has stock on a wide range of iPads for as little as $329 for the 10.2-inch iPad (2021).
Hello! This is Alison, and I'll be taking over this Cyber Monday iPad live blog for the next while. Gareth has been working super hard all weekend to bring you the very best deals on iPads and much more, so he's getting a much-deserved break.
What do I have to share for my first live blog entry? If you're looking for a discounted Apple Magic Keyboard for your iPad Pro 12.9-inch, I got you.
Amazon has dropped its price for the Apple Magic Keyboard to $299.99 after a $30 in-cart discount. Amazon's been doing that for a lot of Apple products lately and it can be easy to miss. So my advice to you, shoppers, is to look carefully under the sale price for some bold green letters that say you can save even more money at checkout.
If you have a 10.5-inch iPad Pro, pick up this Apple Leather Sleeve for only $52.99. That's a $77 saving and by far the best price we could find anywhere for this case. Buy it in bold (PRODUCT)RED or a more subdued taupe.
Meanwhile, if you have the larger 12.9-inch iPad Pro, the Speck Balance Folio Case is marked down to $32.49 – that's exactly half off. For further comparison, it's over $50 less than Apple's comparable Smart Folio. And Speck products are top-notch in their own right.

An iPad VPN isn't a bad idea if you travel with your iPad often, as it can help reduce the risk of online threats whenever you connect to public Wi-Fi networks. (Also, being able to access streaming services outside of your country to watch shows that aren't readily available in your area is kinda cool, too.)
Whether you're renewing a VPN subscription or are finally ready to take that first step towards securing your iPad, Cyber Monday is a fantastic time to land a stellar bargain on a VPN service.
If you’ve just bought an iPad Pro in the Cyber Monday sales, and plan to use it for creative tasks, you might find it annoying that the thing only has one port. You can’t exactly connect a hard drive, headphones, charger and other accessories if there’s only one plug.
These are great to have if you use the trackpad feature on your iPad, and you need a hardware keyboard for your iPad to do certain bits of work on.
Well, we've still got a little while until the end of Cyber Monday, but it seems rather unlikely that we'll get any more deals between now and then emerging, so let's look back on what's been most popular for us since the launch of this live blog.
In first position is the iPad Air from 2020, which you could originally get from Walmart from $539, but went out of stock relatively quickly - it was supplanted by the iPad Air deal at Adorama, listed below.
The iPad Air was also the second most-clicked item, coming in at $849 for a slice of the Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity versions.
And - finally - the third-best-clicked iPad this year was the excellent iPad Pro 12.9 - although not the superior newer version, but the now-more-cost-effective 2020 model, which comes with the awesome screen.
Check them out now if you're thinking of buying yourself a new slate before Christmas.
The days of having to update your video conferencing software before joining a call are over as Zoom has announced that its bringing automatic updates to its Windows and macOS clients.
Not only do updates provide new features and functionality but they are also used to patch software bugs and other vulnerabilities that can be exploited by hackers to launch cyberattacks and infect your devices with malware.
Just like with other software companies, Zoom routinely releases updates for its desktop clients and mobile apps. However, not all of these updates are installed by end users which can put their devices and data at risk.
For this reason, Zoom is now rolling out a new automatic update feature for its Windows and macOS clients to ensure that everyone is running the latest version of its software before starting a call.
Enabling automatic updates
According to a new blog post from Zoom, in order to turn on automatic updates in its Windows or macOS clients, you'll first need to open the software's Settings menu, head to the General tab and select the “Automatically keep my Zoom up to date" option.
From here, you'll be prompted to enter admin credentials to allow the company's automatic update feature permission to run but this will only be required when enabling this setting for the first time.
Going forward, when a new version of Zoom is available and you're not already in a video call, you will be prompted to install the update. If you ignore this prompt, don't worry as the update will be installed automatically the next time you restart your Zoom client.
If you're not keen on receiving frequent updates, the “Slow” option is selected by default which focuses on maximum stability instead of giving you access to the latest features. Power users though can enable the “Fast” option which will let you download and install the latest features and updates as soon as they become available. It's also worth noting that critical security updates are pushed out by Zoom to everyone regardless of which option they've selected.
While some end users will need to enable automatic updates by themselves, if you're part of an organization that uses Zoom while working from home, your IT admin will need to enable this feature for you.
The range of Cyber Monday MacBook sales has been impressive over the last few days, and they're still going now - even as the Cyber Monday deals rumble on for at least 12 more hours, the overall deal quality is starting to wind down slowly
While it's true that things are slowing down, we're not struggling to find deals for your delectaton - there are a variety of styles, storage options and CPUs to work with.
So far, we've seen brilliant deals on the MacBook Air, the best laptop in the world in our opinion, as well as the 13-inch, 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros - including those using the best new M1 Pro CPU.
And if you want a more comprehensive looksure you also check out our Cyber Monday deals live blog for more breaking deals as they appear.
The M1 Pro in this MacBook is the beefier variant with 10 CPU cores and 16 GPU cores, and it also comes with 16GB unified memory and a 1TB SSD in Space Grey. The Silver model is still full price at £2,599.
You can't always get what you want, but sometimes you get what you need, like an actual discount on a brand new MacBook Pro 16-inch. Besides, there's nothing wrong with Space Grey, and Silver is honestly the most overrated metal there is, so why would you want to perpetuate that? Think about it.
B&H states that there are a limited number of units at this sale price available and – in our experience – they aren't playing around with that. If you want to grab one of the best laptops ever built for a little bit less this Cyber Monday, jump on this deal ASAP.
One of the best Apple MacBook Pro Cyber Monday deals going right now is the 13-inch MacBook Pro with M1 chip for just $1,199 at Amazon, a $100 discount on an item that doesn't see a lot of discounts. It's the entry-level config with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, and 8-core CPU/8-core GPU.
This isn't the lowest price we've ever seen for this MacBook – it dropped to about $1,050 earlier in November, but that was really an outlier – and it's possible that this one will see another price cut at some point during Cyber Monday.
If it does though, we're really not expecting more than another $100 off its currently discounted price. This model is also pretty likely to sell out at some point, so if you want to make sure you get this MacBook Pro 13-inch in time for the holidays, there's definitely no harm in jumping on this one now.
So my boss over in the UK told me something interesting this afternoon. His dad kind of knows what my boss does for a living and so he asked how he was holding up after Black Friday.
My boss, probably in a very tired British accent, said that he wasn't done and that we still have a whole day's worth of Cyber Monday sales to get through. His dad, most likely in an equally British accent, goes "What's Cyber Monday?"
My boss explained that it's like doing Black Friday a second time around, and his dad had never heard of it. Apparently Cyber Monday isn't as big in the UK as it is in the US.
Right now, the best Cyber Monday MacBook deals we're finding on the Pro line-up are all Intel-based, but these are still outstanding MacBook models with a lot of power at some pretty incredible prices.
This Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch with 10th-gen Intel Core i5 is just $1,299, a $500 discount. It also comes with 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD with Intel Iris Plus graphics, so this is a great little workstation to take with you on the go when portability is more important than best-in-class performance.
You've also got this Apple MacBook Pro 16-inch with a ninth-gen Intel Core i9, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and AMD Radeon 5500M graphics with 4GB of video memory for only $2,299 at Best Buy right now.
Speaking of, this Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch comes with the M1 Pro processor featuring 10 CPU cores and 16 GPU cores, 16GB unified memory, and a 1TB SSD, making this a powerful mobile workstation that is nearly as portable as a new MacBook Air.
The M1 Pro on this model is the smaller 8-core CPU/ 14-core GPU, and comes with 16GB unified memory and a 512GB SSD. The sale is only on the Space Gray model, with the Silver model selling for full price.
I have no idea what's up with the whole silver is better thing, honestly.
So let's talk about the Apple MacBook Pro 13-inch with M1 chip. Over at Amazon, you can save big on a couple of models, like this 8GB RAM/256GB SSD Silver MacBook Pro 13-inch for just $1,199, a $100 savings. Sorry Space Gray heads, the Space Gray version of this configuration doesn't appear to be in stock.
Happy Cyber Monday folks! Check out all the latest Cyber Monday deals on everything we've found so far that isn't an Apple MacBook – though we obviously have a bunch of those too!
This is a much more robust MacBook Pro model than the ones on sale over at Adorama, largely due to the additional 8GB of RA – ahem, excuse me, 8GB of Unified memory.
All that means is the GPU in the M1 chip uses the system memory as video memory, unlike discrete graphics processors that often have their own dedicated VRAM for doing its various calculations and loading up textures, video, what-have-you.
With integrated graphics processors like the M1 though, if you've got a really graphically intense process going on, like video editing, it's going to impact overall system performance since basic OS processes share the same memory resources, so there could be memory bottlenecks.
Know what helps prevent that? More RAM. Wait, I mean unified memory. Whatever. The point is, doubling the available memory will make your apps fly without any fighting over memory resources (or at least less fighting).
So I know I've been doing this back and forth about Space Gray versus Silver MacBooks and asking why one is more expensive than the other, and yada yada yada.
Know what we don't talk about enough? Where are the Rose Gold MacBook Pros? Y'all know there's a huge underserved market for that, right?
So this isn't really a deal, per se, but it is definitely some life advice you can take to the bank this Cyber Monday: Nothing, I mean nothing, beats two slices of New York City pizza from an all-night pizzeria around the corner after midnight. File that one away folks, you'll thank me if you're ever in town.
If it weren't for the fact that the M1 MacBook Air that came out a few months after this model did is such an exceptional device, the MacBook Air (2020) would still be considered one of the best Ultrabooks you could buy.
As we note in our review, it fixes a lot of problems that people had with older models, ourselves included, and while it won't give you the same kind of battery life or performance as the M1 MacBook Air, for a lot of people even that kind of performance really isn't necessary.
This is a great laptop if you're just looking to do some work for school or on the road, in a coffee shop or at a conference. It will easily fit in just about any backpack imaginable, and it looks great too, especially in Rose Gold.
For the record, this is officially a Rose Gold-only zone. You can keep your Space Gray and Silver at home.
I mean, you are paying less for this MacBook than you would have last week, but this one is definitely the odd duck of the Cyber Monday MacBook deals in the US right now. Maybe a database error? Someone forgot to carry the one when adding up the Cyber Monday deals? The perfidy of the gods? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ok, so I've pulled out a lot of Cyber Monday MacBook deals on the latest M1- and M1 Pro-powered MacBooks out there – don't ask me about the M1 Max-powered MacBooks, I have looked everywhere I know to look for that one and nada – but I want to bring us back around to the last-gen Intel MacBooks again, this time the MacBook Pro 16-inch from late 2019.
Personally, we'd tell you to opt for the M1 Pro devices if you can, but if those are just out of your budget, then this is definitely a great alternative for a 16-inch MacBook Pro that you can get for under $2,000.
And for the record, you can get either the Space Gray or Silver versions for the same price.
It's very early in the morning here in NYC, but I've got one last Cyber Monday MacBook deal for y'all before I head out and pass everything over to the capable hands of someone else who isn't me.
And with that, dear friends, I am calling it a very good night. Thank y'all for sticking with me and the rest of the TechRadar crew for your Cyber Monday shopping needs, we really do love to help you find the stuff you want for the best price we can. Be kind to each other.
What a lovely sign-off from John there! I'm Matt, senior computing editor, and I'll be looking after this live blog throughout Cyber Monday. While John is based in the US, I'm here in the UK, where it's early morning.
I'll still be bringing you the best MacBook deals from both sides of the Atlantic throughout today, and I've just read John's updates to see what's been covered. And now I really, really, want a slice of pizza.
ANYWAY let's ignore those cravings for now and go on a deal hunt!
As John said earlier in one of his non-pizza related posts, Cyber Monday isn't as big in the UK as Black Friday is, but that works in our favour (yes I'm using a 'u' for this UK post) as many retailers continue to release Cyber Monday deals (or leave their Black Friday deals running), but there's less competition amongst shoppers over deals.
This means there's some great hidden deals that don't go out of stock so quickly in the UK on Cyber Monday.
Over on John Lewis, the retailer has cut the prices of a range of new 14-inch MacBook Pros with the M1 Pro chip. This is the newest MacBook from Apple, and I reviewed it for TechRadar... and I really really liked it. It's incredibly powerful, while also being compact and portable.
So to get a price cut, even if it is 'just' £100 off, so soon after it launched, is great to see. Here's what John Lewis has to offer:
The new 16-inch MacBook Pro has also had a price cut from John Lewis. This MacBook comes with basically the same hardware as the 14-inch model (such as the M1 Pro or M1 Max chip), but with a larger screen.
This is a brilliant laptop, then, for people who want a powerful workstation machine with a larger screen. However, the larger screen does mean this is a lot bigger overall than the 14-inch model, making it harder to carry around. I personally prefer the 14-inch model, but the 16-incher is still a great call. Here's the deals John Lewis has:
Sure, it's not one powered by the M1 chip (it's a 10th generation Intel Core i5 CPU), it's still a great laptop, with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. For this kind of price cut, this is a laptop that will last you a long time, even if it's not the most recent model.
That's a price cut of £150, again pretty good for a MacBook on Cyber Monday. The 13-inch MacBook Pro with the M1 chip came out late last year, and while it's not as powerful as the M1 Pro-powered MacBook Pro 14-inch, it's still a very good laptop, and it's also much more affordable - especially with a price cut like this.
For people in the US, if you don't mind venturing outside (what's that?!) then Micro Center has some good MacBook deals. You can only pick them up in-store, but you can reserve them online, and there's some decent price cuts.
Again, these need to be picked up in person, so you'll need to check stock of your nearest Micro Center. It's not ideal, but these are bigger price cuts than we've seen elsewhere, so worth checking out if you have one near you.

Back over in the UK, I've found some good MacBook Pro deals.
This cuts the price to £2,299 - the same as the 14-inch model. However, this model comes with half the storage at 512GB, so if you want a larger screen, but don't need as much storage space, this is a great alternative.

Earlier, I found that if you don't mind an older MacBook model, you can save a decent amount compared to newer versions.
And, I've just found another good example of this. The MacBook Pro 16-inch has just had a new model come out, and as we'd hoped, it's led to older models getting even cheaper.
This is the model that comes with a 9th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM and AMD Radeon Pro 5300M graphics card. While it's not quite as powerful as the newer 16-inch model with the M1 Pro or M1 Max chips, it's still a very powerful laptop, and comes with a much larger discount then we'll see with the new model, which is only a couple of week's old.
So, if you don't mind having a slightly older laptop, this is a brilliant choice that can save you a good amount of money.
So, when hunting for MacBook deals on Cyber Monday, should you check out Apple's own website?
Ehhhhh... kind of. Apple doesn't really cut the prices of its devices, even during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, so you're not going to get any discounts there.
It's a bit like getting a gift card from an aunty at Christmas rather than the cold hard cash you were hoping for, and you can't use the $100 gift card for the purchase itself. However, if you're planning to buy something else from Apple down the line, such as a new iPad or Air Pods, you can use that $100 gift card to cut the price there.
So, it's not a bad deal in the end, especially if you'd rather buy direct from Apple.
Not a lot of new MacBook deals popping up, so I'm going to highlight some existing ones that you may have missed. First up is the MacBook Air with M1 chip for $150 off.
That drops the price of the model with an 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD, plus that great M1 chip from Apple, for just $1,099.99.
This is a great price for the best laptop in the world right now, and with a nice 512GB SSD with plenty of space to store all your documents on.
That's an absolutely huge saving on the latest model, so if you're an Apple fan hunting for a deal in the UK look no further - this is the deal to get.
Amazon had been selling it for $1,349 earlier today, but it's now applied a $99.01 saving when you're at the checkout, leading to a big $250 saving! This is an amazing offer, and one that can be easily missed, so make sure you jump on it!
Hello! It's Daryl, the Software & Downloads writer on the Computing team at TechRadar, and I'm looking at MacBook deals for the next few hours.
I'm the proud owner of the new MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021), and while it's a favorite laptop of mine, it may not suit your needs specifically.
There's a myth that you can't game on a Mac, but I'm here to tell you that it isn't the case.
Apple Arcade, the Mac App Store, and Parallels Desktop also has a way of playing many games on a Mac through running Windows in an app. Other independent developers have ported DOOM and other games to macOS, because of course.
We looked into Parallels on the Mac back in August, and were surprised to see how well our pick of games ran. We also tried some titles with my MacBook Pro 14-inch last month, and playing Metal Gear Solid V on high settings, at full speed, was nothing short of impressive.
Parallels currently has a deal going on where you can get 20% off until December 1, so if you're keen on playing Crash Bandicoot, Tomb Raider 3 or another game on your new Mac, it's a great time to look into it.
It will still run the latest version of macOS Monterey, and there's also a free upgrade to Windows 11 in this offer, so if you use Boot Camp to switch between Windows and macOS, you're in luck here.
Here, you get the M1 chip that debuted last year, 512GB storage and 8GB RAM, without the Touch Bar as well. This laptop is perfect for college work or editing videos if you're wanting to expand your YouTube career.
If, like me, you have a pride of place for your new MacBook in your home, there's a good chance you use accessories for it.
These are great to have if you hook up your Mac to an external monitor at your desk. macOS will recognise both devices when near, as long as Bluetooth is on, so you can continue your work on these accessories right away.
It's time for me to hand the liveblog over to John Loeffler for the rest of Cyber Monday. But before I go, if you're looking out for cheap deals on a MacBook Air, you're in luck.
Apple's take on Gold has always been muted, more Champagne Gold than Gold Nugget. The same applies to the M1 MacBook Air, so if you want something to stand out but no too much, this is a perfect choice if you've been looking for an Air model for Cyber Monday.
Hello Cyber Monday folks! Thanks to Matt and Daryl for holding things down this morning and afternoon. This is John, and I am back bringing you all the latest Cyber Monday MacBook deals on MacBooks and MacBook accessories.
I went scrounging around for a MacBook Pro 16-inch with M1 Max deal and turned up nothing, which is to be expected – but hope springs eternal, right?
I also see that all of B&H Photo's MacBook Pro 14-inch models with M1 Pro are back to full price, which we expected. This 16-inch MacBook Pro with M1 Pro chip for $2,399 is the only one of the new MacBook Pro models on sale over at B&H right now, so we expect that one to move very fast. Get it while you can.
This is the base MacBook Pro 14-inch configuration, so it comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD, but is only available in Space Gray with this deal. Silver partisans will have to pay full price.
But them's the breaks, kids. Cyber Monday can often be an exercise in heartbreak and disappointment, but it builds character.

If you're out here digging through the bins looking for a new MacBook, you might also need something to carry it in. I recently reviewed the Hex Technical Backpack and have been using it a lot for commuting into the office.
It's a slimmer backpack for sure, but boy howdy, does this thing have pockets. Nice ones too, with plush faux fur lining to protect up to a 16-inch laptop.
It has a smaller capacity of 17.5L, so you won't be able to throw everything in it, but it's incredibly comfortable and versatile, earning it a place on our list of best backpacks.
Let's try and get Rose Gold on the map this year. Here are a bunch of Cyber Monday MacBook deals on the new MacBook Air with M1 in Rose Gold (you can probably select other colors as well, but why would you want to?):
Also check out our Cyber Monday laptop deals if you're considering more than just a new MacBook. Our Dell Cyber Monday deals page will also have a bunch of deals on XPS 13 and XPS 15 laptops, which can go toe-to-toe with a MacBook any day.
If you need other Apple gear to become fully subsumed in the Apple Ecosystem, we're keeping track of all the best Cyber Monday iPad deals and Apple Watch deals as well.
The only other thing I'll ask is that you take care of each other, take care of yourselves, and stay safe and healthy.

Right, as we wind down to a close on this live blog, let's talk about the hottest products that you lovely readers have been clicking on since we launched this liveblog.
The two contenders for 'top deal still going' are the new MacBook Air M1, with 8GB of RAM and 512GB internal storage - that's now available for $1099 over at Amazon - so nearly the cheapest we've ever seen it there (the cheapest being $1049 earlier this year).
The other choice is the MacBook Pro 14-inch with M1 Pro - both the 'standard' flavor and the 10 / 16 core model - which is impressive as it's one of the most expensive out there.
What we love about the MacBook world is that it inspires people to spend a bit more 'because it's Apple and it'll last'. I agree with that last sentiment, but these laptops generally outlive some people's excitement, so being robust is nothing when the boredom sets in.
