Buy the Google Pixel 6 and score AU$100 of Google Store credit

Google’s long-awaited Pixel 6 is almost upon us, with these affordable new flagships proving to be the search giant’s most ambitious Android smartphones to date.

While the Pixel 6 is already amazing value for money (starting at just AU$999), if you order the new device from the Google Store before 11:59pm on November 7, you’ll score yourself AU$100 of Google Store credit which can be spent towards a wide variety of excellent Google products – more details including terms and conditions on this offer below.

Cloud AI smarts, right in your phone

Pixel 6 is powered by the new Google Tensor processor, which is the first ever custom-built chip in a Pixel device. In terms of performance, the Tensor chip allows the Pixel 6 to perform tasks up to 80% faster than the Pixel 5, but that’s really only the beginning of what the new chipset brings to the table.

Thanks to Tensor, the Pixel 6 is capable of advanced on-device AI – no internet connection necessary. Features like Live Translate allow you to translate live video captions, signs and private chats in up to 55 languages right on the device, along with 104 additional languages while online.¹

Tensor makes photos even better...

Tensor also provides the Pixel 6 with best-in-class-computational photography. New features like Magic Eraser let you seamlessly remove distractions from the background of your snapshots via Google Photos, meaning you can wave goodbye to unwanted photobombers quickly and easily.²

You can also harness the power of AI to create dynamic pictures in Motion Mode. Action Pan lets you focus on fast moving objects and add a blur effect to the background, while Long Exposure gives you the ability to capture fast-moving elements within a perfectly still frame – an ideal feature for creating night time light trails.

Tensor’s AI smarts also let you salvage blurred portrait shots using the new Face Unblur feature, saving you from taking additional photos and the need for your subject to stay completely still. Best of all, Face Unblur works automatically – no need to apply it manually.³

Also baked into the Pixel 6 this year is the inclusion of Real Tone, a feature which  authentically and beautifully represents all people and the nuances of all skin tones.

...and shoots video that’s out of this world

Tensor’s advanced machine learning capabilities even extend to video capture, taking full advantage of Google’s HDRnet technology – an image enhancement data pipeline of sorts that uses AI to process HDR images faster and more accurately. This means the Pixel 6 can process incredible 4K HDR video on the fly, resulting in richer colours, enhanced tone mapping and improved Night Sight video.

Of course, that’s just the tip of the iceberg of what Google’s Pixel 6 has to offer. As mentioned earlier, ordering the Pixel 6 before November 7 will net you AU$100 of Google Store credit, which you can put towards anything on the Google Store.
